Storytelling Pitches

PeaceMaker

Peacemaker is kind of like Kung-Fu in the Old West. Marshall Robert Parker is framed for a crime her didn't commit. He's sentenced to life in prison instead of death, and has to take a train ride to the prison. The train gets into accident and Marshall Parker escapes. Taking on the identity of Jack Williams he wanders around from Western town to Western town righting wrongs, fighting for the oppressed, and always searching for clues as to who framed him and why.

I'd like this to be a real action oriented show, possibly on Adult Swim as a kind of American anime (not anime in design sensibility, but in storytelling sensibility). Kind of like an animated Deadwood.

Team:Impossible
What if James Bond went to Japan on a mission and had to deal with Godzilla? The basic premise for Team:Impossible is that it's a Wold Newton kind of universe. All the fictional stories are true, and Team:Impossible are the guys that go in to fix things when they go wrong. The show would follow a small group of spies as tyhey traveled the world dealing Giant monsters, ants, Mexican wrestlers, undersea civilizations, and of course, leftover Nazi super-weapons.

Again, this would be a very action oriented show. I see it as a Cartoon Network type adventure show, for kids to watch when they get home from school. Kind of along the lines of Ducktales except maybe a bit more mature (but not much). As for style I'd like to have a 60's illustration feel to it.

Dean and the Professor
Dean is your typical American kid. He goes to school, does his homework, and goes to bed at night. He also happen to be best friend with the Professor, a genius who invented a time machine out of a roller coaster. Dean, the Professor, and Dean's dog, Hank, all travel through time having adventures, learning about science and history, and generally having fun. Each episode would deal with either an historical figure (e.g. George Washington, Napoleon, Alexander the Great), or with a scientific concept (e.g. dinosaurs, space travel, etc).

This would be a definite kid's show, aimed squarely as the earliest grades. I'd like it to be done in that Dester's Laboratory, UPA-influenced style.
