First off, where were you? We missed you on Wednesday. Secondly you have some very clear poses here Mike. The drawing of those poses looks a little forced. Try to avoid the single neat line for the boards and loosen up your style to include some really fluid line-work. Your transition shots are a little difficult to follow though, the emphasis you place on the flat shots and the 180 flip is making the storyboards look too basic (even for pre-school). Although some of the poses are some of the best you've done to date, panel 10 is a good example - lots of expression. Puppy looks fantastic in this pose! Make sure that you explore more creative shot composition in the next project, this is going to be vital to your growth as a story artists.

Thanks for the feedback Shaun. I got scheduled to cover a shift at work again. I've spoken with the owner, not just my manager, and he's assured me that this won't happen again, and he's instructed my manager accordingly.

What do you mean drawing looks forced? I understand that the poses and staging are simple and they were intentionally so because all the shows I looked at had very simple staging. I can certainly understand the critique that I may have gone too far in that direction. I looked at the story treatments for this assignment and I'm very excited. I think complex shot compisition is a must for it, and I relish the chance to get in touch with my inner Sergio Leone.
