Hey Kristen, look at me I'm responding! This is what I'll be doing with my lunch break in the next few weeks! Just to chime in, I think you've made vast improvements with the P & P assignment. Your characters are much more on model and the action is well paced and clear throughout. Perfect for the age range. The one thing I would like you to experiment with is the nature of the framing and staging of the action. Don't forget that often, particularly for the preschool age range, the negative space can be as powerful as the positive. In terms of mood and atmosphere particularly. It's a rainy day yeah, we can emphasize Puppy's annoyance at this through some lovely visual cues - Rain pouring down the window pane is one, long cast shadows the other. Gloom in the room is another. etc etc. I'd love to see the characters and action inhabit the space with a little more attention to this and you'll also find that the visual gags will have room to breathe... so to speak. Would be happy to crit another version ready for the portfolio!
