Feedback from today meeting (3/10/11)

I had a blast with today meeting with everyone and it was great to have some feedbacks from Mark and I think he's going to stop by on tue next week so get ready everyone. 

I have some feedback to tell you guy about your boards (TEAM 2, GROUP VENTURE!!! GOO GROUP 2)and I think Shaun might do more follow-up later. Sorry, my recalling of feedbacks are more for group 2, but group 1 your boards were awesome and I would think Shaun and Rogernald would have better feedbacks for your group because they would understand alot more.  I emailed you guy, but this is just like a double check. 

Eli:

Mark LOVES the Alien eating the bat gag, it was great. The Alien pitching machine was great, but it's looks a bit too scary for normal mode with the thin eyebrows.  Mark wanted the machine to be more goofy like the Alien. The concept with Liz running to first base and what you see is only her shadows and her team shadows in the dugout was nice, but Mark wants to zoom in Liz's face more (because it's like her moment) and what you can do is that you see Liz running to her base (not just shadow) and in the foreground you can see her teammate head cheering.

Chris:

You cover alot of ground and the gag with the aliens jaw dropping in the outfield was just funny as heck (I didn't see that coming at all, so it was cool dude). And I think Mark wants you to play out the belches Alien a bit more. He wants the Alien to looks really sad or just don't care at that point anymore because they are so stuff on junk food. So like when one of the Alien tell the other Alien to get the ball which is like next to him, he reach for it, but was sooo lazy that just give up and the ball is like a couple inches from him just drag that moment a bit more.

Hi again,

I noticed Eli uploaded his boards onto the gateway site. I don't know if anyone else saw them there but they were kind of hard to view so I downloaded them all and zipped them in a folder and uploaded them so we could have them here on the blog as well.

It is just a bunch of jpegs in a folder sorry for not putting them into a .pdf. I opened them in storyboard pro and they didn't open in sequence and I didn't want to put them in the wrong order.

Let me know if anyone has problems opening the .zip I could also make a .rar if that is easier.

I'm sorry for not posting earlier but all morning I've frantically been looking for my flash drive with the updated files on it. Unfortunately I do not have it here but FORTUNATELY my boyfriend just called me back telling me it was in his car. So I'm reposting the altered intro I posted on Sunday (that we saw in class on Tuesday) because it's the most recent file I have.

Jr. Giants Part2 pg6

Hey! Chris Rieser Here, I have edited and added to my boards since last class. I've edited out the catcher since there won't be one anymore, i've taken out one of the ball cams at the end so its not so redundant, and i've added the team of aliens laughing at Mikey, after the pitcher does. then i have a shot where the team of aliens look up at the pop fly that Mikey hits in aww. also i stuck in an extreme close up of both Mikey and the pitching machine to have the "High Noon" moment before the last pitch is fired. still some more stuff to do with MY part of the boards, minor things on my end i guess, but my group and i will have to pick up the pieces where Davin was absent, so we have a back up. to my understanding, and this is what we discussed in class, is that (ELI) your extra part bleeds from your part to end where coach says"you can count your fruit and veggie magnets on later." and (THANH) your part starts at "Mikey timidly grabs his bat and walks up to the coach." and your part ends at, "Mikey sort of laughs at himself." then i take it from there. this is more that just a class you guys, and we need to all step up and bring our "A" game to the table. go team VENTURE! AWAAAAAAY!

Hey this is Thanh, I just want to show you guys what I have so far with the ending. I am still figuring out how I want to position the characters to make the dialogue in the end with Mike flow more.

I'm hoping to go to today meeting so I can explain my idea for the different panel, right now there is no caption and it's still in it's rough stage, but I just want to have something up for today for the meeting. I will post more finish work later on this week.
