Thank you Andrew, good job man. The introduction sort of bookends the piece with the image of the descending flowers. I like how the action transitions, everything sort of flows together with style. As I said at the meeting you do have a very deliberately framed style, with flat, "front facing' reverses. Does this flow with the rest of our pieces? Should the rest of us adopt this? Is it ok for this section, as the introduction, flow differently than the rest of the piece? Should the intro adopt a more "3/4 facing" design language? Shaun? Andy? Director? My jury is still out.
I really like the flower's path Andrew going through the whole process and then introducing Stones. I think you could stage some things better so you're not cutting so much. It seemed like there were a lot of cuts.
Clearly I like cuts, but we have to take the actual animating and rendering into account, so we will need feedback on this.
Perhaps we should each make a camera map indicating how many cameras we use, where they are placed and whether they are down or up shots or what-have-you? That might help us more clearly arrange our cuts and compositions. If agreed lets try to have that by Tuesday so we can get Shauns feedback
If making the camera map is too much of a huge pain then perhaps we have too many cuts.
